Teaching is a gift, and teaching in a Christian school is a calling and a ministry (Ephesians 4:11). The importance of Christian teachers is unparalleled because Christian teachers in Christian schools are responsible for the mind and the soul of each student.

Praise Temple Christian Academy faculty and staff are well-qualified both spiritually and academically. The majority of our lead teachers have a bachelors degree or higher and CGACS teacher certification.

Dr. Langley has served as the senior pastor of Praise Temple Church of God (formerly Groveland Church of God) since 1994. He is also the administrator of Praise Temple Christian Academy, which was founded in 1998. While attending Faith School of Theology, Dr. Langley felt the call of the Lord to minister in Groveland. Dr. Langley completed his Ministerial Internship through the Church of God in June, 1995, and became a licensed minister in January of 1997. In 2003 he earned a Master’s degree in Christian Counselling from Trinity Southern University and in June, 2012 he received his Ph.D in Christian Therapy from Dayspring Christian University.
Mrs. Langley is the first lady of Praise Temple Church of God (1994-present). She is the principal of Praise Temple Christian Academy as well as an elementary school lead teacher. Mrs. Langley has been teaching for over 30 years. Mrs. Langley completed the Ministerial Internship Program along with her husband in June, 1995. She received her Associates Degree in Christian Education from Faith School of Theology. In June 2011 she received a Bachelor of Christian Education from Dayspring Christian University.
Mrs. Collier is an alumnus of Praise Temple Christian Academy. She graduated in 2004 and joined the staff at Praise Temple Church of God and Christian Academy in 2005 while working toward her college degree. Mrs. Collier is the worship leader at Praise Temple Church of God. She also has served as the preschool director of Praise Kids Learning Center since its founding in 2010. Additionally, Mrs. Collier is the academic advisor, office administrator, and lead teacher at PTCA. She holds a National Child Development Associate Degree (CDA) and Bachelor of Christian Education from Dayspring Christian University.
Rev. Langley is an alumnus of Praise Temple Christian Academy and ordained minister with the Church of God. He is the associate pastor of Praise Temple Church of God (2016-present) and has worked as a lead teacher at Praise Temple Christian Academy since 2010. Rev. Langley is also our athletic director. Rev. Langley graduated from Blue Ridge Bible College with his Associates in Biblical Studies in 2010 and went on to complete his Bachelor of Christian Education from Dayspring Christian University in 2014. In 2016 he completed his Ministerial Internship and ordination through the Church of God.
